Forgive me if I don't post for a while

The Christmas holiday has not been a good one on the Bus.
Our eldest son was in an accident Christmas Eve.
He is home now after three days in the Trauma Center.

If the photo you posted is of the car your son was in or just awful similar to the mangled wreckage, he must be strong to have survived the crash he was in. I'm guessing he did not get his head or spine banged up too bad since he was released from hospital in three days.

Big car crashes make for quite the life markers. Working harder at rehabilitation than anything he has ever worked at before is my only advice. Damn. Happy New Year anyways.

Ed: I will hold your whole family in the Light. I have always been impressed by the kind and loving spirit that shines through in this blog, and I pray that you have an especially strong lifeline right now to whatever sustains you.

Since I suspect music is a big part of that, here are two healing songs from a recording I was part of, Welcome to the Circle, by Betsy Rose with the Womansong Chorus:

Holy Crap!!

Ed, that is every parent's worst nightmare. I got one of those calls about 3 years ago (all three of my kids were in the car), but thank God they were all "treated and released". I'm glad Zac is home and I'm sure he'll make a full recovery with his family's TLC. Emily would be crushed if anything happened to those gorgeous eyes!

Keep me posted and I hope you guys have a better New Year.

I would just like to add by best wishes. A strong sense of family comes through in your posts so I'm sure your son is in good hands and will make a good recovery.
