Tell her lies and feed her candy

From the dripping-sweet songs of new found love to crying-in-my-beer-cause-you-done-me-wrong honky tonk tunes, the relationship between a man and a woman has been the subject of song ever since the dawn of civilization.

Here are a couple of bits of mountain wisdom on the subject.

I apologize if this weeks posts seem short and disconnected. I'm still working lots of overtime and fighting off a tough chest cold.

Here's to your health Ed. We cannot have too many of you petro-workers laid up if gas prices are to remain moderately lower until after the "elections" are over down there.

Ed you might feel bad but you still made some good choices I love both of these tunes.
Just remember no matter how much you work it will still be there tomorrow when you get in.
Something's never change.

Hmmm, interesting post. Good tunes, but I think my husband & I have reversed rolls. I can rarely get a word in edgewise for all his fussin'. Life's too short for all that bitching.

No need to apologize, Ed. I don't think any of us riders will jump ship just because the captain's a little under the weather.

Thanks, all for the well wishes. Everyone have a drink to good health, it may not help, but it sure won't hurt.

Beer - The only things that affect the price of gas are politics and greed.

Joey - This "working for a living" thing is just a vicious circle.

Lucy Dear - Reversed roles? Then "tell him lies and feed him beer".
